6. The year-round deadlines

After the audit, a carrier has a dozen recurring deadlines. Trucking OS tracks them for every client:

  • IFTA fuel tax: every quarter.
  • Clearinghouse query: every 12 months per driver.
  • UCR registration: every year (fall).
  • Form 2290: every summer.
  • IRP plates: each carrier's renewal month.
  • MCS-150 update: every two years.
  • Annual inspection: every 12 months per truck.
  • Medical card: up to every 24 months per driver.
  • Insurance: must never lapse.

This is why carriers stay on a monthly plan.
